A handful of islands face Foca. Intriguingly, two of them are the known as the Sirens' Rocks, thought to be the place where beautiful but deadly women tried to lure Odysseus to his death with their singing. It's thought that perhaps the wind passing over the rocks produced these singing sounds. All the same, on this boat trip it's best to stay onboard until you find somewhere suitable to swim, don't follow the example of Odysseus' men, who died trying to reach the rocks. You can picnic on the largest island, Orak. It has a long beach and high cliffs. These islands harbour the Mediterranean seal, so keep an eye out, but don't approach this endangered creature.
