Sold direct from owners, most resale properties in Turkey come fully furnished, from couches to cutlery, so you’ll be able to move in without hassle. And because they’re established homes, buyers can often avoid some of the teething problems that are sometimes experienced with new build property.
Resale homes occasionally have a price advantage over new homes. Because land prices have shot up in Turkey’s most popular areas, developers have been forced to charge more for new developments, resulting in a price gap between new build and resale properties. This gap can allow buyers to snap up older resale properties at bargain prices.
Resale buyers should bear in mind that, unlike buying new build or off plan, they won’t have any guarantees on their new home - so any existing problems are passed onto the buyer.
