Cesme Museum is located in the town's 16th century castle.

Located in Cesme Castle, the museum opened in 1965 and was originally a gun museum, with guns brought over from Istanbul's Topkapi Museum. However, when in 1984 it was discovered that, thanks to the humidity, the guns had begun to oxidise, they were transferred to the Izmir Archaeology Museum.

Now, the museum contains artefacts from the ancient city of Ildiri, and include god and goddess scultpures, silver and bronze coins and a number of amphora.
