Classic design meets Mediterranean Sunshine
Forget St Andrews – at Carya you can enjoy a heathland-style course in a Mediterranean setting, far from gloomy Scottish skies.
Five-time Open champion Peter Thomson turned his vision to the golfing region of Belek, where he created his dream course. Opened just a year ago, Carya offers a championship course set upon rolling sand hills. Grown on site, one million heather plants add a unique dimension to the 6570-metre, 72-par course.
The Player’s Course
This course is aimed at the very best, while still giving players of all levels an enjoyable game. Undulating fairways, 75 bunkers and three lakes raise the bar for the experienced golfer.
You’ll find a relaxing club house, restaurant and a golfing academy. The academy has 22 driving bays and two teaching studios, where PGA-qualified pros offer top-of-the-range tuition. You can also hire clubs, golf carts or trollies on site. Cool off in the pool, set in a large terraced area.
You must wear soft spikes on the course.
