Torba guide for lifestyle, entertainment and attractions
Torba: Pan Cake Making
Torba Summary
Torba is a small town, nestled in a small bay. It is a very popular holiday destination for Turkish residents, and many have summer houses there, surrounded by flower-filled gardens. At the beginning and the end of the year, Torba is very quiet. However, during July and August the town fills with locals enjoying the Mediterranean atmosphere.
Many keen fisherman buy property in Torba, thanks to its reputation for being an authentic fishing village.
The transport links from the town are good, with a daily ferry travelling between Torba, Gulluk and Didim.
The downside to Torba is that there are strong winds, which can churn the sand along the shore and make the seafront look muddy, though it's perfectly fine for swimming.
