We would both like to thank you for your advice and guidance and taking the trouble to listen, making sure that the properties we viewed were within our selection criteria and in the area that suited us. It saved us a lot of time. Please also pass on my thanks to Vildan and Ergun who made our week very enjoyable, we appreciated their hospitality.

We were glad that we allowed ourselves a week and not tried to cram all the viewings within a few days. We had plenty of time to take a good look at all the properties Vildan and Ergun had carefully selected for us and please thank them for arranging the accommodation during our stay. Staying in a villa certainly helped us to get a feel for the place and what it would be like to actually own one. Although we found our ideal villa within the second day, it was nice to have time to go back and look at it again as many times as we wished. The views were sensational and everyone we met were so courteous and friendly.

We were very grateful to have Vildan and Ergun with us to help us with all the paperwork and legalities that followed once we decided to put a deposit down and to explain everything. It made the whole buying process straight forward.

All in all we would recommend Place Overseas to anyone wishing to buy place in Turkey.

Good to speak to you yesterday, I am glad Robin Haddow's plans for Sovalye Island were well received. He has recently won some prestigious awards and is highly acclaimed for his work. I am very happy to speak with your clients who are looking at similar investments to ours and to give our views on the issues. Please feel free to pass on my email and mobile number.

As you know we looked hard at Kas, Kalkan and Sovalye Island off Fethiye. Our reasons for selecting Sovalye for our first investment were -

- it's a unique opportunity and an affordable way of being front line to the sea
- its beauty and peace are coupled with having a thriving town nearby and we felt that off season especially the access to life is a good antidote to the peace and beauty of the Island
- boat access also has its appeal over having to always use the car for shopping etc we plan to keep a small boat on the Island.
- whilst the plots are smaller than mainland of course the 50m or so that run down to the sea and jetty is effectively garden and the slope is not nearly as steep as you see in Kalkan or Kas, so sea access is really good.
- rental opportunity is also good and its unique nature means a higher yield potential especially from the specialists like Exclusive or Tapestry. I think that this season there are no Villas to rent on the Island and so the lead agents are very keen to fill the void and I am predicting a GBP40k potential for 24 weeks based on early discussions.
- it also seems we can get local care support working with local contacts and if you proceed with your rental plans we are happy to talk.
- the views, sunset and summer breeze all make the two plots available a good location
- the only downside is having to buy via a company with cost associated but you just need to factor that into the project costs.

Looking at alternatives, we think Kalkan is over developed and to get a front line sea access property is rare and probably requires very steep steps to get down to the water. Its' also very 'english' and nothing like as special as Sovalye. On the plus it rents well and GBP 450k investment frontline can fetch GBP 30k plus p.a . Kas is nice and pretty bohemian but quiet off season. The opportunities are pretty well all on the peninsular and are high above the sea, so great views and tough climbs to the water. Not really easy mooring as the seas can be rough. We prefer Kas over Kalkan but, of course, both are further from the Summer airports i.e Dalaman than Sovalye.

Assuming the current project progress is good, I think we might look at Kas for the next but that's just because Sovalye is more personal and the second or subsequent investments will be financially driven alone.

Hope this is helpful. I think we know the market and the pros and cons pretty well and happy to share that experience if appropriate.

As Vildan told you there were a couple of properties we liked especially the one in Yalikavak and thinking in hindsight we dont know if we made the right decision by not putting an offer in but we will go out to Turkey again in the near future and we would like Vildan again to show us some more properties if that would be possible. I originally thought it was just sale talk when I first contacted your company but I really do feel that I need to congratulate you on the level of service, care and dedication from everyone at your company.

I was so amazed at the difference when Place Overseas helped me find my dream villa in Yalikavak. Having experienced viewing trips with some other companies where the only concern was for them to get a sale at any cost, whether I liked the place or not in most cases been shown nothing close to what I was actually looking for.

So I had a real reluctance to go out again with another company. My fears were soon put to rest when I met Vildan your Place Overseas Bodrum consultant, not just from her professionalism and knowledge but the total real genuine care shown to me. Vildan not just showed me a huge range of suitable properties to choose from but really giving me the good and bad points of areas, the best developers and how the legal,buying process works. The hardest part really was choosing from the 15 properties I had viewed, as over half of them were perfect. In the end though when it came to the negotiations I really didn't expect to get my dream villa for the price I did. Having previously looked at Spain thinking that now might be a good time to buy there, but for the price of a one bedroom apartment(even with the so called 50% discount) I now have my dream three bedroom villa, with private pool and the most stunning views imaginable. The only problem now is leaving my villa to come back to England.

I normally would never consider putting pen to paper like this, but I have to thank you so very, very much, from the very first contact to completion of my villa every thing was handled perfectly. I would also like to add I have told all my friends and family and I know my brother is now going out with you after years of wanting to buy. I really cannot recommend Place Overseas highly enough.

Firstly we would like to thank place overseas for a fantastic inspection trip and suggesting that we consider the Antalya side of Turkey to meet our family criteria. The organization was superb and very professional. Last year we had a very bad experience with an inspection trip to Spain with another company. It left us very wary of the whole idea of buying abroad.

We were booked into a lovely hotel in Antalya and were met with Zekiye and Ugur. Ugur was our guide, driver, fountain of knowledge and most of all a real gentleman with a great personality. He showed us round Antalya, Side and Altinkum. Each area had something different to offer and Ugur showed us everything from ancient ruins to shopping to great restaurants to hidden beaches to lovely properties. We found his opinion very honest and he directed us so well with his views on what was a good area, good buy, investment etc. He then took us to Kemer as he felt it was just what we were looking for. We fell in love with the place immediately. The region is so aptly named the Turkish Riviera, so cosmopolitan and breathtakingly stunning. We now feel we have gained a friend in Ugur.

We then spoke to Zekiye who moved us to Kemer so that we could live there by day and night and really get the feel of the place. Zekiye is so professional, efficient and passionate about her work in providing the best service possible for her clients. She did fierce negotiations on our behalf and did not give up until she had created a wonderful deal and package for us. We are so grateful to her and we are sure we will see much more of Zekiye. Another new friend! Ugur and Zekiye are real treasures. Places overseas are very lucky to have such valuable members of staff.

We are now the proud owners of a four bedroom duplex in Kemer. Our parents will use it most as they are both retired and we will join them for holiday periods. We can?t wait to get back over again.

Our experience to Turkey looking for property has been a good one. We had been talking about buying a property in Turkey for sometime and after a couple of conversations with Cameron we decided this was the right thing to do. He and his team have been very supportive through the buying process.

On arriving in Bodrum some 3 hours late Vildan was still there waiting for us indictating a very professional and dedicated attitude. We spent 4 days on the pennisular with Vildan & Ergun looking for property, they took care of our every need also having fun at the same time, we did buy a 3 bed detached villa in Torba.

Zekiye is a treasure and had everything planned so well. Beatrice acted as our driver, guide and voice and was an endless source of information. She was also great company (another treasure!), so although we were there for a purpose and the schedule was hectic, we felt we were on holiday too and really got to absorb something of the area. There was absolutely no pressure and we felt we were really listened to. We saw a variety of properties and fell in love with both Side and Kemur. We have left a deposit on an apartment in Side which suits our present purposes and we are thrilled!
