Dalyan guide for lifestyle, entertainment and attractions
Dalyan Turtle Beach
Dalyan Summary
Dalyan is located in Turkey's southwest, in the Aegean region. The closest towns are Fethiye, seventy kilometres southeast, Bodrum, 200 kilometres northeast, and Marmaris, ninety kilometres to the west.
Dalyan is twenty two kilometres from Dalaman Airport, which offers plenty of direct flights to and from the UK.
The Dalyan region is small, but filled with natural beauty, including beautiful sandy beaches, lush forests and the Loggerhead turtles.
The Dalyan Region has a population of 9000 people during the off-peak season. This number almost doubles over the summer months. The weather is similar to Dalaman and Fethiye.
Thanks to its peace, the Dalyan region is ideal for nature lovers or those looking for a tranquil area.
